Engineering Technician II - Utilities - Galveston
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent and three years related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with asset management software, specifically Maximo
- Experience in a utility plant environment
- Experience with safety procedures and standard operating procedures
Job Summary:
To provide intermediate level specialized skills in the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of scientific, electronic, computer, or mechanical equipment.
Job Duties:
- Collaborate to develop and maintain standard operating procedures for utility production plants
- Maintain asset management programs including collaborating with other departments to standardize processes
- Develop and maintain standardized technical training for departmental personnel
- Operate and maintain utility production equipment to support departmental operations in accordance with established operational and safety procedures.
- Perform, analyze, and report on quality assessments of the utility production plants
- Performs related duties as required
