JOB SUMMARY: Assists with social media and communication with UTMB medical students for various grant-related activities or opportunities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Works with the Center of Excellence for Professional Advancement and Research (COEPAR) to plan and develop communication campaigns for various COEPAR activities. Creates and posts content to Facebook and Instagram with the potential to expand across other platforms. Reaches out to targeted JSSOM students and student groups to engage and collaborate. Proposes and develops content, searches for relevant content to post to our social media and assists with Center activities as needed. Participates in meetings and engages with COEPAR staff each week. Can work independently and within a team to meet team goals
