Field Network System Tech - CMC - Hamilton
The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD).
JOB SUMMARY:
- Provides reports on desktop, server, networking, and/or conferring to upper level technicians and management as required.
- Provides general assistance in analyzing, administering, and maintaining the performance of local and wide area networks.
- Maintains all necessary desktop computer software applications and operating systems.
- Assists staff in functionality of current software applications and hardware tools.
- Supports and deploys system images via department standards.
- Installs appropriate cabling as necessary for network, telephone, and video connections.
- Works with a standard product such as a switch, router, server, desktop computer, laptop, printer, scanner, etc., based on requirements and instructions from management/supervisor/lead/senior and associated documentation.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure established for department.
