HCSS Human Resources Business Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY:
To manage, coordinate, and directly support the administrative and business management, and/or staff activities within a Human Resources Department. Ability to perform tasks and responsibilities on own initiative ensuring process and operational continuity of various administrative and business management activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- UTMB External/Internal Payroll - biweekly.
- Serves as the subject matter expert on issues regarding Internal/External payroll; answers questions.
- Provide customer service to customers and departments.
- Audit internal/external timecards for department float and missed punches.
- Processes Time Adjustment Forms and Historical Edits.
- Reconcile time in Kronos w/All HCSS Contract Hours Report; review the report to identify errors in job codes and balance hours worked each day.
- Notify employees and managers via email of potential timecard errors.
- Process non-PO vouchers and Paycom remittance.
- Distribute vendor statements for external vendors.
- Submit time detail reports for external vendors.
- Provide follow up on sensitive issues regarding customers and candidates.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Developing partnership and general understanding of the customer’s business and current Issues.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Developing presentation and facilitation skills.
- Basic to moderate level of impact and influence with customers.
- Moderate analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Competent use of personal computers and general office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook electronic mail.
- Demonstrated initiative in developing leadership and supervision skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree or equivalent and 2 years of office related experience.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
