HCSS Neurodiagnostic Technician
JOB SUMMARY: |

To provide advanced technical skills necessary to perform one or more of the following electro neurodiagnostic procedures: electroencephalogram (EEG), intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM), long term monitoring (LTM), evoked potential (EP), and nerve conduction studies (NCV).

Education Programs (CAAHEP) OR Electro neurodiagnostic (END) registered

EQUIPMENT: |
|
|
• Standard office equipment, standard patient care supplies, standard EEG, IONM, EMU, EP, and EMG/NCV equipment and mechanical devices. |
||
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: |
• Work environment is in a comfortable indoor area. • Conditions such as noise, odors, cramped workspace and/or fumes could sometimes cause discomfort. • Moderate to extreme physical effort may be required, such as walking, standing, performing CPR, and lifting materials, equipment, objects, and/or patients. Frequent lifting over 20 lbs. may occur. • Occasional lifting may be heavy and awkward, over 50 lbs.
