High School Student Trainee, Pediatrics CEIID Research
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Enrollment in High School as a sophomore or junior, or not yet achieved a High School Diploma
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will provide basic support within the department and offer an opportunity which will provide work experience as a trainee and support a transition from student to employee.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Will vary by department and may include –
- Performs literature searches and review.
- Prepares variety of basic chemical solutions used for experiments.
- Mixes cleaning solutions according to specifications.
- Putting pipettes in racks for autoclaving.
- Cleaning and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
- Performs related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Physical or mental abilities.
- Demonstrated competencies.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/EQUIPMENT:
- Standard office and/or laboratory environments.
