Management Analyst I (Partial Remote/Local) - Supply Chain Informatics
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
- Intermediate – Expert skills/knowledge in Power BI
- Project management and communication skills.
- Oracle/Peoplesoft FMS experience
- SQL Experience
Job Summary:
To provide support in the analysis of institutional activities and business development projects designed to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Job Duties:
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Data Collection: Gather and analyze data from various sources to support decision-making processes.
- Report Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards and repots in Power BI to visualize key metrics and trends.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance, identifying patterns, and providing actionable insights.
- KPI Development: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure organizational success and track progress towards strategic goals.
- Forecasting: Utilize historical data to create forecasts and predictive models that inform strategic planning activities.
Process Improvement
- Workflow Optimization: Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements using data-driven insights.
- Automation: Implement automated reporting and data visualization to processes to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
Project Management
- Project Coordination: Participate in projects aimed at improving business processes or implementing new analytics initiatives.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Data Governance: Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards and policies.
- Quality Control: Review reports and dashboards for accuracy and consistency before presentation to management.
Informatics & E-Commerce
- Assists in qualitative and quantitative analysis of departmental functions and procedures.
- Analyzes business processes by consulting with departmental personnel to document current work processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Preforms item adds, changes, and basic updates in the item master database.
- Generates and maintains basic reports related to item master data.
- Monitors and responds to inquires, requests, and issues in the eCommerce inbox promptly.
- Ensure that item master data is accurate, consistent, and up to date across all systems.
- Works with cross-functional teams, including procurement, IT, and finance, to support data management efforts and resolve item master-related issues.
- Assists with other item master-related duties as needed to support the overall eCommerce operations.
- Adheres to internal controls established for the department.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
Partial Remote, on-site as needed. Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.
