Network Support Specialist II - ITS-Operations
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent in related field and two years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Wireless access point configuration and installation experience.
Job Summary:
To provide hardware/software support and the technical skills required to administer, design, modify and maintain a network configuration at the department/school level.
Job Duties:
Refresh of wireless access points enterprise wide.
Analyzes, designs, and administers or assists in the performance of network connections/ configurations at the school/department level.
Performs basic to moderately complex problem determination of reports and resolution, identifying problems at the school/department level.
Assist management/supervisor with the development of reports and procedures to optimize the benefits of network capabilities.
Adheres to internal controls established for department.
Performs related duties as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong customer service skills. Troubleshooting skills. Coordination and scheduling skills.
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
On-site, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and as needed on occasion. Some weekends and after hours may be required.
