Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS
Required:
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
- OR
- Registered as a Pharmacist Intern with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
WORK LOCATION
While this is a remote position, we are not able to support out-of-state remote work for this position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Pharmacy Technologist assists Pharmacists in providing drug distribution, technical services, and clinical services associated with the preparation, storage and dispensing of pharmaceuticals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist with patient-assistance program enrollments and management.
- Communicates effectively with other pharmacy employees, healthcare professionals, and patients while appropriately recognizing age (e.g., pediatric, neonate, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
- Performs quality assurance/improvement audits
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
- Performs related duties as required.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Hours will be during Monday - Friday days, up to 19.99 hours per week with no benefits.
