REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
- Two (2) years of general clinical practice experience.
The following licensure and certification must be maintained at all times:
- Current license to practice dentistry in the state of Texas.
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) controlled substance registration certificate.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS-HP).
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) additional years of experience; at least one (1) year full-time work experience with UTMB Correctional Managed care preferred, and at least one (1) year of responsible full-time wage earning work experience in the supervision and administration of a dental office in military, public health or institutional dentistry.
Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
