Research Associate I - Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Research Staff
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in basic science or equivalent; no experience required.

- Quantitative Analysis
- Qualitative Analysis
- Analysis of Mass Spectral Data
- R programming
- Github repository
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Environment.
Job Summary:
Performs varying standardized laboratory assignments and experiments.
Job Duties:
- Under direct supervision, performs standard data processing, code development, and research assignments involving a series of related operations in the field of computational proteomics.
- Test performance and benchmarks codes developed for protein turnover rate estimations. Keeps version and source codes for software developed in the lab.
- Sets up and conducts standard computational simulations following detailed technical instructions.
- Prepares biological data from publicly available repositories and conducts basic quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Maintains records of all tests performed and data analyzed.
- Assists in the compilation and tabulation of data and provides preliminary analysis.
- Compiles, calibrates, operates and makes minor modifications to a variety of laboratory bioinformatics tools/codes, as defined by appropriate guidelines.
- Performs related duties as required.
Salary Range: Actual salary commensurate with experience or range if discussed and approved by hiring authority.
