Speech Pathology Resident - Speech & Audiology
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To provide professional skills in diagnostic evaluation of patients with speech, language, cognitive, oral and pharyngeal swallow function, and to provide habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services under the supervision of a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Select, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests, plan and conduct treatment for patients with swallowing and communication disorders, demonstrate clinical skills with age specific populations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree, Clinical Fellow eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, and eligible for Intern license from the Texas State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior Practicum experience in medically based or rehabilitative practices.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
