Vascular Technologist I - Clear Lake Campus (PRN, mainly weekend days, up to 19 hrs/wk)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education/Experience:
- Must meet one of the following educational/experience requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of a formal vascular technology training program.
- Graduate from a diagnostic ultrasound training program (2-4 years)
- On the job training is accepted if already registered
- Must be registered or registry eligible. Registry eligible must be registered within 6 months of hire
- 0+ years of experience
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- All of the following are required.
- American Heart Association (BLS)
- In addition to the above, one of the following is also required:
- American Registry for Radiology Technologist (ARRT-VS)
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS- RVT)
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RVS)
- Registry eligible (must be registered within 6 months of hire)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current RVT or RVS strongly preferred
WORK SCHEDULE:
Up to 19.99 hours per week, no set schedule. Not a benefits-eligible position. Will travel to other UTMB campuses as needed for coverage.
